Where's Batman?

Where’s Batman when you need him? I guess real heroes are ordinary people like you and me that show up and do what has to be done. Don’t stick your head in the sand make sure you do what you can do in your community, your city, your state.

There are quite a few who are having buyers remorse. I’d hate for them to believe they should shy away from saying so.

This forum needs more threads with two sentences that basically boil down to Obama sucks. We only have like 4,000 of them. Perhaps people think forum means blog.

Short list of recently added threads which essentially just say Obama sucks without trying to have a discussion on anything specific: Essentially blog posts. Enjoy the reading, these threads ALWAYS turn into great discussions because they provide such an elegant question to begin with. As I say dripping with sarcasm. Obama has been a very poor President so far, but let’s at least TRY to have something to discuss when we make a thread. I don’t think that’s a bad goal.

I’m by no means saying anybody should shy away from speaking up.

But you are posting tin foil hat links to fringe websites. If I did these things to places that were pro Obama there are quite a few in here that would light into me and spit out little chunks. As H Factor stated post some substance save this stuff for your personal blog.

Yes he has not been a stellar pres, but we have had many of these in our history from both sides of the aisle. Lets also not forget that we did not get into this mess overnight and that there are two other buildings full of elected officials really not interested on working with each other as well.

I don’t have the time to reeducate those that get information from their daily local pro Democratic/union newspapers. When I post a sentence or several hundred as in my past posts I don’t need to hear from the lazy minds that think if it isn’t in step with MSNBC or ABC etc… that information is from a tin foil hat site. Time has a way of melting away all the socialist/communist diarrhea that is spewed on these “real news” programs.

June 24, 1974, Time Magazine wrote an article entitled Another Ice Age? Time Mag that’s one of those “real news” sources. Where did the Ice Age go? We have a few hot summers and the sky is falling. Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” was touted as great educational material and shown in schools all over the country. F Al Gore.

When you young guys finally grow a memory of how things work in the world and how often the “real news” sources scam you, you will be accused of trolling when you post because you disagree with the younger generation that believes they know better. I hope they won’t be throwing you in prison in that day for disagreeing with the state.

Here’s another example. I guess we’re all supposed to bend over and let little Timothy Geithner screw us in the rear. Not a single “real news” program reminds us that when Barack Hussein Obama tapped him for “Treasury Secretary of the Greatest Nation on Earth” in 2008, it emerged that little Timothy Geithner had not paid $35,000 in self-employment taxes from 2001-2004. He was working for the International Monetary Fund, surely a position that should have reminded him that he owes taxes. I wonder if how many really believe we the other side of the isle should give in for the sake of getting something done in congress?

Timothy Geitner and Obammy want tax hikes first then they will discuss spending cuts. The same thing happened when Ronald Reagan was president and Democrats demanded tax hikes first. Somehow the Democrats NEVER got around to voting for those spending cuts. When you guys grow memories and experience it first hand I hope you don’t let little pencil necked whiners that attack your tin hat news sources or criticize your writings influence your speaking out against the liars.

Good ol’ Timmy…

His lack of tax paying aside, the fact Bam went on and on about how evil the big bad bankers were, and then appoints him and Summers… How people voted for someone like Bam that openly lies to your face about such things is beyond me.

But the again, I’d be surprised if you asked 1000 O-Bots who Geithner was, 4 would be able to tell you.

Nevermind. If possible could you keep your blog style posts like this one to one thread and not start a new thread every time you want to remind us that you indeed hate Barack Obama.

That Geithner tidbit is a good one. I’m sure you can’t find ANY conservatives that have ever avoided taxes. Keep in mind, the other side is ALWAYS ALWAYS bad and your side is ALWAYS ALWAYS good.

Sounds a lot like a comic book.

Please with this shit already. You are a broken record.

If all you are going to do is bitch about cheerleaders, that makes you one yourself.

On to the topic, I’ll never defend Paulson, because I think his hands are dirty enough to warrent criminal investigation. That said, Bam still picked a banker toolbox to TS… Good Christ, it is a sad day when one is called a cheerleader for pointing out a blatant lie to the American people, let alone putting someone who has proven to not be effective in the lead…

Nice post dog, the funny thing is I’ve been around this site long enough to see lots of guys like you come and go. Hopefully you make some more good posts in the future (like your Walmart thread).

But let’s adress your personal attacks…

Yes I’m a union member IAFF, don’t get a daily union newspaper though (only special members get those I guess).

Lazy minds, well I guess I’m not one of the people that has 10k plus posts but lazy? Yes tin foil hat sites recycling the same propaganda (FTR I don’t agree with Democrat leaning sites that constantly use the blame Bush line either).

Young, check the profile I’m 7 years your junior not 20.

So I’ve been around for those spending cuts promised that never happened, but I’ve also been around long enough to see that there no longer seems to be a will to work together to get something done.

I never said one side of the aisle needs to cave, but there has to be a compromise from both sides for something to happen or it’s just a bunch of adults acting like toddlers throwing a tantrum and threatening to take their toys and go home.

Hope this sheds some light on my view here, my thought is that it may not and you’ll continue with the personal “Union Thug” attack next. Have a good one.

If calling out people’s hypocrisies bothers you prepare to be bothered. You certainly aren’t bitching about the broken record OP are you? The threads we already have that are virtually the exact same as this? Exactly how many Obama sucks threads with no question in them would it take for you to be bothered? If I was in here jumping on the fuck Obama bandwagon would you have posted?

Crying when “the left” does something that the right does all the time makes you a party cheerleader. Both sides have tons, this side just predominantly has the red variety. If it annoys you when I call that out then I’d put me on ignore, because that isn’t going away.

[quote]H factor wrote:

No, and I’m not commenting on them either outside of small snippets here and there.

Depends on the content of your posts. I don’t comment on every point in every post.

Doesn’t annoy me, it is more or less your only pony at this point. Sucks because I though you had more to offer in the way of conversation than constant finger pointing and attacking posters…

Guess I was wrong.

I don’t agree with everything OP says, but I’m not going to argue with him about the stuff we don’t agree on, why? Because I’ve tried to, and it was pointless, so I let it go and comment abotu the points I see with merit, like I do in most threads.

When the right does something that China and Russia agree is good for the “world” let us know.

You can nit pick over a governor having an affair with another adult or some inappropriate email to a male staffer or even a story about a former alcoholic who straightens up, marries a librarian and becomes a two term president, but please don’t try to make it sound like we do the same things. You’re a moron if you believe Republicans even come close to allowing the United States to fall as the Super Power. George Bush’s hometown is not one of the Murder Capitals of the United States. Chicago and all the other big liberal cities are.

You haven’t been following my posts very well if all you think I do is finger point and attack…though it is weird that you complain about that from me in a thread where you come in finger pointing and attacking me. My complaint with this thread was legitimate. It doesn’t attempt to generate discussion and is like so many other Obama sucks threads I posted earlier. When one starts a thread the goal shouldn’t be this is how I feel. That’s what blogs are for. It should try to generate discussion about a topic. At least that’s my opinion. Feel free to finger point and attack me for it of course, you already started.

I have no desire to fight on the internet, that gets you nowhere. I do have a tendency to highlight the inconsistencies of people, and that tends to anger them. Sometimes I respond in anger as well which is a flaw of mine, but it isn’t my goal.

Murder rate? Not sure what that has to do with anything. George W Bush was born in New Haven and Barack Obama in Honolulu (though you probably think he was born in Kenya or perhaps on Mars). I don’t believe either of these places have high murder rates. You do realize the President wasn’t born in Chicago right (or Kenya).

As far as allowing the United States to fall:

Under what President’s watch did the current financial crisis begin, two wars get started and not end, stimulus checks get sent from the government, banks get bailed out, Medicare expand, the Patriot Act start, online poker get made illegal, etc?

Make no mistake about it I’m not a fan of Barack Obama…for one big reason. He has largely been the same on all the big shit as his predecessor. You guys may know him as that guy you defended to the death a few years ago cause he had the magic R on his chest.

If the argument is though “our side may suck, but the other side is a little bit more bad than us” then you’re getting my point…and making an incredibly stupid argument for why to support a party.

By hometown I meant where they reside or have homes. President Bush is in Texas and Obama’s Chicago home has been mentioned in the news as having one or more murders on the street or nearby. The city of Chicago is nearly always high on murder list with approx 500 in city per year. No where near that on any Republican run city.

As far as who was in charge when the economy was going south? Democrats held control of both the House and Senate from 2007 into Obammy’s first term. Bush was president but the democrats held all the cards as they were the majority and also had control of Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac housing loans.

They labeled it racism keeping so many blacks and Hispanics from owning homes so they opened it up wide and gave away loans like they were passing out condoms at William Jefferson Clinton High. Now they cry saying Republicans didn’t want oversight and forced these poor blacks and Hispanics to take loans they knew they couldn’t make payments on. You can’t make this shit up.

Rewrite it anyway you want we are divided, just like our enemies want.

Once again the current definition of a racist…somebody winning an argument with a liberal.

P.S. Just a shout out to NBC’s Bob Costas for using the horrible domestic violence and troubled/addled mind of the NFL player’s murder/suicide incident so he could stack three phone books for his soap box to lash out against guns. Yeah Bob if only O.J. didn’t have a gun he’d have to shoot Nicole Simpson & Ron Goldman with a knife. These morons never think to themselves “Gee drugs are illegal and everyone has access to them but making GUNS ILLEGAL will end these tragedies!” Bob Costas and Ed Shultz in 2016.
