I recently read that a article where TC wrote that he feeds his dog high quality food, and I thought I did too until i noticed that the brand of food i was buying (nutro) had their “wetfood” on the list of dog food companies using the shitty chinese ingredients. So what do you health nuts feed your four legged friends to keep em healthy?

Wow, where do I start.

My dogs eat the following foods every day:

Basic mix (home made):
–Either ahi, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb or salmon(rotated daily)
–barley or brown rice (rotated)
–spinach, zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, broccoli, caulfiloer, brussels sprouts, garlic, apples, pumpkin, tomatoes
–ground walnuts, almonds, or cashews

Last feeding: Low-Carb Metabolic Drive, organic peanut butter, yogurt, flax meal wth glucosamine and chondritin, and REZ-V

Biscuits (home made):
Ground turkey, blueberries, carrots, peas, whole wheat flour, oatmeal, flax seed, eggs.

Snacks-Dehydrated chicken breasts (home made)

Supplments: Flax/borage oil, Flameout

I think that’s most of it.[/quote]

Hell yeah, great movie.

a BARF diet, bones and raw food.

A typical day would be some raw turkey necks, raw ground meat, flax/fish oil and some vitamin supplements. Throw in some raw liver or mackeral once or twice a week and you’ve got a nice meal. Yum. Yum. Of course I share my broccoli with her too.

I’ve been feeding my dog this way for 7-8 years and she thrives on it.

Our pitbull gets tasty kitties and the Pom gets dead birds…

TC, can you adopt me? Your dogs eat very similar to my competition diet

Bauer, are you saying you’re a “tasty kittie?”

Let’s just say this… 270 pounds of Bauer, sweaty from flipping tires and pulling trucks = MEOW!!!

165 pound posers from my globo gym

But seriously, I don’t have any dogs but my friend does, I got her to switch them to eating the higher grade dog food and also started to add more whole food, lots of chicken, steak and brown rice. They also get glucosamine and fish oil as part of their diet now.

A

I’ll post tonight from home, don’t want “sweaty Bauer” to be considered porn from my work computer wink. I’ll have to see if we have any of Killer and Bauer together after the mayhem.

You’re kidding, right?

That’s awesome! Seriously, all that?

I’m not kidding at all. Of course, the basic mix and the biscuits are cooked up in big batches and then frozen in individual portions.
