No longer a teen but I had a couple of years where i had some good numbers…

15 years old 145 lbs
Bench 285
Squat 300
Powerclean 250 (didn’t do deadlifts in high school)

19 years old 185 lbs
Bench 300
Squat 350
Deadlift 425[/quote]

Why almost no gains from 15-19? Im assuming you took a year of two off.

Well I consider those pretty decent gains because I was not real concerned with strength, just size. Once I got to 300 on bench I became content and I was just happy my legs were coming along after having chicken legs all through school. The deadlift went from 275-425 in a matter of 6 months just due to learning the movement.

Once I got into powerlifting the numbers went up a lot faster because of a change in the one body part a day split to an upper-lower 4 days a week split.

It would be nice if people could call unequipped lifting… you know unequipped instead of RAW!!!.. just saying.

Turned 16 in December
Lifts at 15 @ 160
