If I Get a Tattoo of T-Nation Logo....

How about I get it branded, with no anaesthetic? whilst bench pressing? and post it on youtube?
would that be man enough for you haterz???

I would say no. However I have seen the defranco logo tattooed, which I really like. Considering you cant even get to wear a defranco t-shirt without going through a workout and being in really good shape, a tattoo would be a serious right of passage.

Then again if T-Nation inspired, changed your life, saved your life, was a huge part of your life, something you would want forever go for it.

Is that your tattoo in your profile pic? is that for real?

There is no way that anyone would ever mistake the tattoo as an advertisement for T-Nation. But even if they did, I’m pretty damned proud to say that I belong.

But since I’m not a fickle little bitch like some of you guys seem to be - after several years of posting here every day, I think it’s safe to say I’ll be here when they close the doors on this place, and at that point this ‘advertisement’ will serve as a memory of the place that changed my lfe.

Funny how things work out.

Side note: Is RJ’s avatar not RJ? Unless he put on some considerable size from '05 to '08, the tattoo photo and his avatar photo are two different people.

Well, the vast majority of feedback for RJ was positive.

I’m obviously kinda joking about point 2, but I’ve seen them come and go since this place first opened its doors, just don’t swallow everything whole especially when it comes to things you cant really take back.

Anyway, good luck whatever you decide.

I’m familiar with the guy, but he doesn’t stick out to me like Ronnie Coleman does… especially with such a small picture.

Thanks for letting me know, though.

I also don’t know what happened. I saw him post a lot when I first joined T-Nation back in '04, but when I came back this past March after a brief hiatus, he was nowhere to be found.

  2. I said it wasn’t a corporation ‘as such’ -down there at the bottom of the screen it says-‘Testoterone Publishing,LLC’.That stands for Limited Liability Company, the definition of which, from Wikipedia,is-

A limited liability company (abbreviated L.L.C. or LLC) in the law of the vast majority of United States jurisdictions is a legal form of business company that provides limited liability to its owners. Often incorrectly called a “limited liability corporation” (instead of company), it is a hybrid business entity having certain characteristics of both a corporation and a partnership or sole proprietorship (depending on how many owners there are). An LLC, although a business entity, is a type of unincorporated association and is not a corporation. The primary characteristic an LLC shares with a corporation is limited liability, and the primary characteristic it shares with a partnership is the availability of pass-through income taxation. It is often more flexible than a corporation and it is well-suited for companies with a single owner.

The point of WHAT?
You’re missing MY point-I have some advertising space on my body I will rent out for free shit.
Get it?

It’s been done before by Golden Palace Casinos-they have paid people to get their logo tattooed on their chest/back/forehead,etc…they have got anywhere from $10-15k

Man ACE, you have some weak ass arguments. “Corporation” vs. “LLC” is simply a matter of semantics. It’s clear that stevo_ was making the argument that T-Nation is a business whose purpose is to make money, not about how the owners are taxed.

Also, Microsoft hasn’t changed your life? Let’s be realistic here. That’s like saying being able to drive a car hasn’t changed your life since cars have been around for a long time.

You should stick to your ACE RIMMER Appreciation Thread in the SAMA subforum.

It was stating the obvious.yeah,it’s a business.I fucking know that.
I said it’s not a corporation ‘as such’ I really didn’t want to get dragged into semantics.
It just that the logo stands for more than that, for me at least, and if you don’t get it,you never will.

I don’t get your car argument,it just puzzles me.Microsoft hasn’t changed my life-I made that clear.
I am able to drive a car,and I have in the past,but I don’t anymore,I ride a bicycle now,so that hasn’t changed my life either.
