I used to be very unhappy with my job, Network Engineer doubling as IT Tech Support (the worst job in the history of worst jobs). Got to the point where I said I was gonna quit in 9 weeks. One week later I got laid off. BEST thing that ever happened to me.
Right now I am pursuing several potentially lucrative online business models, with the goal of complete outsourcing and autonomy, I don’t want to have to do work if I don’t have to. Still putting in a good amount of hours, but in a few months time it will be well worth it.
