Whey Insulin Spike

I have read more times than one that whey protein causes a significant spike of insulin. My question, is why?

I thought insulin was released from the pancreas as a response to higher blood sugar from foods like carbs.

I’m surprised that whey would increase blood sugar.

Amino acids are insolugenic too.

eating food causes an insulin release. Be it C, P, or fat. Insulin shuttle nutrients to where it feels the body needs it for nuse or storage.

Difference in the spike being the amount of digestion etc that the food stuffs need to go through. That why simple carbs cause a large insulin spike, and things Like Surge cause and even bigger and better one when we want it. The hydro whey is very small fractions easily digested and ready to be used.

Thats the very basics,
