Hi.
I was wondering if any of you guys do like me when you deload, that you from time to time deload in another exercise than the one you use for your main lift.
As for the squat day I migth(not every deload) use the Box squat in the deload week.
Or for the Bench Press I might deload using the incline Bench Press.
Just to add a bit of variety. In my world it does not matter as long as hte work is done ligth.
And m y lifts go up so.
BTW my current 3 day set up is :
(I proritize the 3 big lifts and abs :-))

Squat 5 3 1
Front squat 5 x 10
Seated BB Press 5 x 5
Pullups 5 x max
Side bends 5 x 10

Bench Press 5 3 1
Bench press 5 x 10 ( Band Pullaparts between all BP Sets)
Yates Row 5 x 10
Lying Tri Ext. 5 x 10
Leg Raise 5 x 10

Deadlift 5 3 1
Goodmornings 5 x 10
Crunch 5 x 10-20
Curls 5 x 10

I've never done that but as long as the weight and volume are lowered I don't see how it could hurt. I just go by what's written in the book.
