How do they compare to close grip bench? Never done them but would like to start incorporating them for my triceps. Any tips?

I like them. Make sure you keep the ends of the dumbbells together. It makes it easier to control the movement.
I’ve seen them done on a flat bench and an incline. I prefer flat, it just feels smoother.
