Post-Workout Carbs at Night

I’ve been weight training heavy around 8-9pm, mostly because my campus gym is so crowded all the time.

My main question for anyone that knows is do I eat a bunch of carbs after, even though I’ll be going to bed 2.5 hours later? Before I started lifting at night, I quit eating them after 7 or 8pm.

My secondary question is, is there a time during the day that the gym isn’t packed? I hate having to battle for a bench, turns an hour workout into a 2 hour thing.

Are you trying to lean down or put on size? Either way I’d still go with at least a shake with some carbs in it PWO (if this fits into your dietary goals). If your trying to put on size, eat all the carbs you need to. I don’t really feel that eating carbs before bed will make you fat. As for the second question, how the hell should I know?
