I’ve developed a hip impingement over the years (a mix of a lot of time in the drivers seat and an ACL surgery) that is really exacerbated by squatting. I can warm up with mobility and light weight/high reps, and my hip will still hurt both during and for days after the workout. The odd thing is if i can get about 3 good sets of deep 45deg leg press before i squat i don’t have the issue.
Problem is i don’t always have access to a 45 Deg leg press on leg days. Any ideas on a warmup i can do that would simulate the leg press if i don’t have access to it?
