Honestly, I’m not 100% sure I understand what you’re describing. It sounds like the cord doesn’t reach far enough such that it prevents you from getting a full ROM. In that case I suggest getting a true Jump Stretch band if you intend to make this a regular exercise in your routine. You could probably go with a monster mini or even a mini if you’re really strong.
