Metabolic Profile?

I’ve heard this term get thrown around a lot by various coaches, but none seem to explain it.

They say stuff like, “When you attain the right metabolic profile, you’ll burn fat very easily, and it will even be hard to add fat when you stray from your diet.”

What is this implying?

low body fat = fast metabolism = the right metabolic profile?

I think it’s less dependent on body fat, and more dependent on muscle mass. Muscle mass is what requires more calories to maintain, not fat. I think that’s what he means.

So, right metabolic profile = lots of muscle, which allows you to dial in your diet and cut fat relatively easily.

Are you guys sure its that simple? I thought it was more about insulin sensitivity, and carb tolerance?
