Ian's 12 Week Leg Program

Right now I’m on Stage 2 from Ian’s book “Get Buffed” and I did his deadlift routine and my skins and knees took a beating. Has anyone else experienced this. If so, how did you correct it. I was thinking of getting shin guards or some knee pads. However, I don’t want to be a Sally and tighten up my skirt. Does anyone have any suggests for me. Thanks guys.
