Full body workouts. Regularly using barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells. One-arm and two-arm lifts of all sorts. Olympic lifts and their variations, as well as other big basic exercises (and yes, even some arm work). Low volume, high frequency, not training to muscular failure.
