no, not you - you!

How YOU view the world is everything. People can give you the best advice on living, diet, training or whatever, if your view of what others think of you is higher than how you view yourself your self esteem will always be dependent on someone else.

In my 45 years of life Between NYC public schools, the military and Gyms between GITMO-Hawaii I can tell you now. Put any 4 guys in a room for more than 15 min and the conversation will go from calling each other lazy lard ass limp dicks to how good the other guys mom, sister, mother, cousin is in bed. Guys talk shit to each other.

It’s how you take it that makes the difference.

That and 2live Crew videos was my porn of the 90’s

Theres a difference here.

OP is working with people who go about like a nagging wife. “OH YOU’RE OFF TO THE GYM AGAIN!?”

Who here would put up with a nagging woman unless they were pussy-whipped? When you’re working you expect to shoot the shit sometimes but getting shit because he is not a degenerate obese lard arse?

Either OP has been singled out because he has a sensitive ego or he works with major assholes.

I would bet they are civilians? Soldiers wouldn’t give a rats ass.

Just curious how do you know there is a Difference? Is it based on Actual words that was said to the OP or is it based on how the OP is reacting to what is said to him.

I’ve been around military ALL branches. And if you are stationed with any group long enough you have some razzing going on. I’ve seen it become harsh to outside ears. I’ve also seen people not use to it take it personal. Soldiers are human just like everyone else. They don’t always sit around singing songs of victory and thinking of the next battle.

Right now I have 5 male staff working for me at one office and its like this all day.

Maybe its our age 460? Is the younger generation maybe more sensitive?

YES!!
Forcesguy wrote:
what supplements are used for that? and im not in highschool, this is in my workplace while im on course, in order for any progress I need to be able to work with these people without getting irritated at them for the stuff they say about and to me, and I understand what your saying thank you very much
First of all, people don’t like us. I can’t believe how much negative feedback I get from people because I train. Of course it’s always from people who don’t train. It may be people just being dicks because you train and they don’t.

There is the effect of over training on the nervous system, and that can make you grouchy. It’s also counter productive because if you are out training your ability to adapt, your not making much progress.

If you like to go frequently, you can adjust your training to be less taxing on the nervous system. Train fast and heavy and leave something in the tank. Don’t leave the gym exhausted. Eat frequently, nutritionally dense foods and sleep. Take a day off too, especially if you have a lot to do the next day socially.
Check out supps that help with nervous system recovery, like the ‘Brain Candy’ and ‘Power Drive’. You issue is not about muscle fatigue, it’s nervous system fatigue.

OP, listen to your coworkers

stop going to the gym and eating well

say yes to subs and gatorade

Yeah I’m still wondering wtf is the problem with sub sandwiches and gatorade. I mean, if you have an egg mcmuffin is your life like over?

Last thing you need is time off.

Make sure your getting your vitamins specially, vitamin D. Cold months tend to be depressing.

Assess your current goals. By this look at how hard you are working toward them, and if your hard work is actually working towards them. Make sure your getting a feeling of accomplishment, if you haven’t in a while set a smaller goal.

Think about your personality. Some people are just overly serious, some are jokers. If you can’t take a joke accept that, and figure out how to counteract it. You may have to get a little upset at someone who jokes with you to set the bar, then stay away from co-workers if it’s not work related. They’ll get the picture.

If you can take a joke, look for some comics on the net about nagging ass coworkers and health. Post them all around your desk like confetti. If people come by laughing at you explain it. Can start a little conversation anyway.

Understand Health is the big conversation among adults, even unhealthy ones. Relax a little.

Get a blowjob
Get laid
Get Weed
Have a drink
Eat a good steak
Eat a sweet breakfast once a week

There’s no reason to be upset, and please don’t go to work and shoot up the office.
