Handheld Blenders Shakes?

Anybody use a handheld immersion blender for mixing their protein shakes? I’m looking for something that won’t burnout quickly, is not noisy, and has a stainless steel mixing attachment (not plastic).

I didn’t even know such a thing existed. How much can it hold?

i’ve had my immersion blender from Braun for about 2 years and it works great. It cuts through frozen fruit really well too. Got it at Costo for approx. $40…

Are you talking about this type of thing or something else?..

I’ve had a Braun 200 watt for about 5 years. Every day it blends up 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive, milled flax seed, cup or so of water and frozen fruit no problem.

I’ve got this baby from Cuisinart. It’s awesome because you actually control the blade, which means no chunks. Because you can go through the whole volume of the container and not rely on the whirpool (like a typical blender) to pass everything through. What else…easier to wash also.
