Goal is to Keep the Goal the Goal

I know, i know, its never heavy enough, and its all relative. But I’d still like to see it, and its still a pretty big lift in my book.

Shoulder mobility
Bench worked up to 375x1
Dips 90/135 x3 180/3x3
Milt press 135/2x5 145/2x5
Pull-ups 3x10 no wt
Kb row 88/3x8
Ly tri 35/8/6/4 alt arms no rest tri’s were cooked.

Looking at squat from yesterday, cut it a bit high…it’ll get there.

Jack, G1 is a modest dude, I’m pretty sure he’s a 500+ meet squatter when he’s not dinged up.

Great vids G1. Seems like the hip joint(s) is what gets powerlifters over time, not the back (a la Boyle). Glad your hip seems to be coming around.

Videos looked strong. Nice work going on in here.

Hey PG, slowly but surely. I am trying to be patient…just not good at it lol.

Thanks DB, trying to keep up with all you big hosses on here!

Deadlift worked up to 600x1

Well, now. We’d have to see a video to know that.

And that’s a triple BW pull? Egads.

^^^Snap police is on you G, but yea, would love to see that pull for sure!!

Also Ya know…its ok not to be perfect all the time

Isnt there a saying on “Dont bore me with perfection, its the fuck ups that entertain us”

well there should be

Nearly 3X Bodyweight? That really is a big pull.

Thanks jack. I was a little over 3x last comp. Usually get down to 197 ish by meet time.

I’m sitting at 204-5ish, and I’d like to get into the 198’s next meet. It would be nice if our local USAPL meets used the new international IPF weight classes, then I could sit right at 204 and be golden.

Yea sometimes those few pounds make a difference. Washington state was a hot bed for adfpa and usapl lifters

Up that was a great line  lol!

Dead vid. Lazy loading plates to 5x45, then a 2.5, then a 25, then 2x10 and a 5 lol.

Sa kb snatch 53# 10-2/2-10 short rest between rungs 60 reps each arm
Sa kb press 53# 10- 2/2-10 same rest as snatch 60 reps each army
Dip+chin 10-2/2-10 60 reps each
Goblet sq 53# /3x5

Wow. Such a tight back. Even for a near max. Great job!
