I don’t think it’s embarrassing to like Seal’s music. His self-titled album helped me through a really painful loss almost 10 years ago.

Just one song? How about a whole band and music genre you’re embarrassed about?

I’m so embarrassed about not being embarrassed for liking these that it’s just embarrassing:

Modern Talking - I may as well claim it’s a heavy metal band, so nobody in North America knows them anyway, despite their enormous popularity in Europe. Well, it’s not. It’s a dance pop band.

Ace of Base - yeah… I went there too

Bosson

In fact, the only music I like is of that genre.

Yep, in case you’re wondering, I AM a dork.

When Smokey Sings - ABC

living la vida loca - it’s just so damn catchy. i even have a rock remake of this song by a punk band

man, i feel emasculated…
i think that’s a hot video

looks around…

since no one’s looking, my guilty pleasure is “I’m a slave 4 U” by dumbass brittany spears.

THAT is effin gay!

that
“you spin me right round baby right round, like a record baby, right round, round round” song

i think the video with the sexually ambiguous lead singer gyrating his hips hypnotized me.

have i said too much?

Another that I learned to like after hearing it almost every morning was the good-buy song from Bear in the Big Blue House.

Hey, this was really fun,
We hope you liked it too,
Seems like we’ve just begun,
When suddenly we’re through,
Goodbye, goodbye, good friends, goodbye
'Cause now it’s time to go,
But, hey, I say, well, that’s OK,
'Cause we’ll see you very soon, I know
(Very soon, I know)
Goodbye, goodbye, good friends, goodbye,
And tomorrow, just like today
(Goodbye - today)
The moon, the bear and the Big Blue House
We’ll be waiting for you to come and play,
To come and play, to come and play
Bear: Bye now!

That bear and moon could get down!

Now they have that stupid Breakfast with Bear show instead.

Right when I was realy getting into that show…

(I have a two year old daughter so it’s okay)

At least Ninas female. I think the gay comment should be addressed to the you spin me round` post.

I really hate “Kathmandu” by Bob Seger. The lyrics are retarded and the music is sickeningly catchy. Listening to it makes me nauseous, and I’ll have my finger on the button to change it the whole time, but sometimes I just can’t do it. At some level I think I like it, and that is very disturbing.

When I heard “The Promise” at the end of Napoleon Dynamite it affected me, and I listen to it sometimes. I also like the theme song from “Smallville”. I like to watch the credits and listen to it. My wife says that’s gay, and damnit, I know it is.

I think it was 99 red balloons, but I’m with you! I had forgotten about that one. That singer was hot (ignoring the hirsute pits, of course :))!

And I STILL love just about everything Missing Persons ever recorded.

Do you really want to hurt me, by you guessed it… Boy George and the Culture Club.

Oh, shit, am I banished now? On my behalf, I think that’s the only Culture Club song, I ever liked!
I feel similarly concerining the song “I’ll tumble for you” ala’ Billy Madison

Fucking Fucking Culture Club

Gerry Rafferty, also did that Steelers Wheel tune " Stuck in the middle with you" . Good stuff.

Agreed…

no excuse me while I go to the barbecue and eat some grilled steak…

I can’t BELIEVE I’m going to admit this…

but the people here (China)in the clubs LOVE the Backstreet Boys…

I actually found myself singing some of their songs the other night (Okay I had 1/2 bottle of Vodka in me…but STILL)…I think I may be starting to like that Sh@t…

Bah… Don’t sweat it dude, I get a kick out of their latest video where they act like an 80’s hair band. Showing that they have a sense of humor about their music, and that it’s all (Sorry Elk) Bubblegum…

You know, the strange thing about bullblegum… It’s pretty tasty and not too bad for you, in incredibly small doses…
