I went to ride this morning. My quiet moment turned out pretty dramatic.
As I got to the barn, there was an emergency. A horse was bleeding heavily from the nose and ear. It had the same problem last week so the vet asked if someone could do an IV injection to help as he was some time away.
I did the injection, nice and clean.
And it seem to work. But 15 min later the horse colasped to the ground, got up and crashed again and went on to full convulsion.
It was very impressive, we got the kids out of the barn. We were sure that the horse would not make it and would die before the vet arrived but no. As the convulsions stopped the horse got on its sternum. It was now blind and attaxic. It was put down by the vet. The vet was pretty sure that it was linked to last week issue and that the meds we gave under his demand only slowed the bleeding enough so we were able to get the horse out of the barn on its feet. Other wise it would have bled out in the box stall.
Now, go hug your pets.
Thatās rough, Iām sorry to hear about the horse. At least you were nearby to make sure it had a swift, humane end.

I got my hormones level results. Estrogen is boarder line low, Testosterone went from 0.71 to 4, with Vit D finally in normal high range. The rest is all the same.
Other fun stuff, my printer is possessed by some evil spirit. It would not get out of DEEP SLEEP. Turned it off, press the wake up button, turned off the router. Nothing, that was before going in the gym.
As I am making lunch the damn thing came alive. A solid 90 minutes later.
I still want to beat the POS. Who makes a wire less device that need an exorcist and physical contact to work once a month.

End of strange week. My MIL is in hospitsl with a broken wrist wairing for surgery and a torn quad. She was back home after a major stroke and now fell in the stairs.
My associates were kind of air heads this week. I felt like a old school teacher.
And there was a material accient at my bf job. Let say their day ended with a boom.
