Noblesville… You?

Fuck it. Not working out today and eating whatever I want.

Back at it tomorrow.

Man, you are doing great! What an awesome turn around in your life. On the deads you know what you need to do. Squeeze those cheeks, Hump the bar, lock it out, whatever mental cue it takes so that you finish the movement. I found that taking a bit more time on my setup before I lower into the dead position (shoulders externally rotated so they lock back, hips and spine set, head back) helps so much.

Then again it’s been a year since I put more than 2 plates on the bar. Whatever mental cues you need to get in a good position before you drop down have helped me a ton. Your experience may differ, that’s just what works for me. KEEP IT UP MAN!

I thought I smelled fertilizer coming from this thread.

Every once in a while a neighbor sees me and gives me a look of total disdain.

But they’re fat, so I have that.

I know what you mean. I once was doing farmer’s walks around my neighborhood while some people were having a garage sale. They gave me a good sustained WTF is he doing look haha.
