My left shoulder got dislocated on the 23rd and I’m unable to hit the weights for 6 weeks. So what’s better for preserving muscle mass while I’m going through my physio: BCAA’s or Carbolin 19?
Try reading the Berardi article on the homepage for a good analysis of injury recoup and maintenance. BCAA and creatine combo for muscle preservation. But if you still do all the moves you can (squats, etc) then your lean mass should stay.
I think both would be beneficial during recovery from an injury of any kind.
I’d recommend L-glutamine.
