A journey starting

Hi T-Nation, thank you for viewing my post.

Am a few weeks away now from my 40th birthday and after quite some thought, have decided to be open to experimenting with anabolic steriods and see if they can offer an improvement in life quality.

What I am hoping to ‘gain’ in is several areas…

  1. A reduction in muscle atrophy experienced during breaks in training (travel abroad / holidays etc)
  2. An improvement in post-workout recovery (i.e. a reduction in the level of soreness, stiffness in days after workout, nervous system fatigue)
  3. An improvement in libido (age has taken its toll).

Am quite happy with my current aesthetic.

Am hoping there is a ‘low dosage’ pathway to allow me to improve quality of life, while minimising the potential negative health side affects. Not necessarily looking to ‘dose’ the whole year either, more so ‘as required’ based as life circumstances dictate.

Ideally an oral delivered drug. Packing needles in a suitcase I wish to avoid (when travelling).

Appreciate any wisdom you guys have

Thanks!

If you want performance enhancement or slightly above normal ranges, 1200 ng/dL, cypionate at 200-250 mg is a good starting point.

If you’re looking for something closer to the normal ranges, at the top end, cypionate at 150 mg per week is a good place to start.

Kyzatrex is an oral testosterone undecanoate gel capsule. Again, if you want performance enhancement, 400 mg twice per day and 200 mg twice daily for normal levels.

You’ll have to find a doctor that prescribes it.

The nice thing about the new oral testosterone gel capsules is the half-life is real short, 6 hours, so if you want to hop off the therapy, you can return to normal levels much faster (1 week) than if on cypionate injections!

Injections is your more cost-effective option.

From a novice viewpoint - Is testogel topically an alternative to oral ingestion? Any direct advantages/disadvantages? I want to learn more about this, from an experienced user’s standpoint.
Sooner or later I’ll be joining you guys, as age takes its toll (and can identify with JBG)! @systemlord

Absorption becomes the only limitation with topicals, consistency with the newer orals is second to none and offers less side effects than with injections.
