Lacrosse game, won 11-6, had a couple goals

I just looked up Lacrosse, seems like a mad enough game. Resembles hurling over here. In this log to learn about the sport and support you

Thanks man.
Ya lacrosse is a great sport that doesn’t get much exposure worldwide. It’s growing though and I hope some day it will be in the Olympics.
I was visiting Dublin in 2013 during the Hurling championship game. All the bars were packed and we had to walk for an hour before finding somewhere to watch the game. Very cool sport and fun to watch. Unfortunately the game ended in a tie, which I don’t understand haha.

Those were actually two of the very best games ever played. I remember both matches vividly. Yes draws must seem weird to Americans but its more normal here in Ireland. We have a replay, great way for the organizing body to make more money haha.

I will be looking more into Lacrosse from now on. When does the season run from and to? Also what tv stations cover it?

I thought the exact same thing at the time - seems like a good way to make money.

There is indoor lacrosse and there is outdoor lacrosse. Both have multiple leagues playing at different times of the year. College (NCAA) field is played in the spring, Professional field (MLL) is played in the summer. Indoor pro (NLL) is played in the winter and the top indoor Canadian league (MSL) plays in the summer. I don’t watch lacrosse very often so I’m not sure which stations cover it.

Decent workout in the condo gym after a big bachelor party weekend.

Lacrosse game tonight. We won 8-7, I played alright and scored a couple.

Invites went out for my team’s 2019 training camp. There’s some good competition and I’m thinking I may need to play some higher caliber lacrosse leading up to it. I’m considering playing in a semi-pro league this winter to prepare.

Great workout. Everything was pretty easy. I was planning on doing 1-arm Farmer’s walks but the gym was too crowded so I just stood still.

Hockey game tonight. First time playing in a while but it felt good to get out. Took a puck to my inner knee, which is a little sore now. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder lifting tomorrow.

Jump rope and Double end bag

  1. DB Snatch: 50x5, 70x3, 80x2, 90x2, 100x1, 100x1, 100x1, 100x1 (reps per arm)

  3. Dips: 3x12
  4. Pull-ups: 3x8

I had no energy this workout but I’m glad I finished it. Zercher lifts always make my forearms and wrists go numb so I should probably stop doing them.

10 minutes Jump rope
40 paces Bear crawl (front and back)

No rest, LISS. Intensity may have been a bit high.

Hey man! If Zerchers are messing with your forearms I’d say invest in some elbow sleeves (Rehband are pretty solid) they help spread the load over a larger area so it might help with that numbness. You could also try doing lower reps with them since holding the Zercher position for those sets of 8 is a pretty long time for blood flow to your lower arms to be restricted! Hope that’s helps dude, also, are you a Canuck?

Ya, maybe with lower reps I’d be okay. I was already using one of those foam squat pads so the weight was spread over a pretty large area.
Thanks for the suggestions. I’m a Canuck, are you?

Ah right on, well either way I hope you can find a solution dude, Zercher anything is always an awesome exercise! I figured as much, didn’t think lax was very popular anywhere besides here and the US. Yeah man! Good to see another Canadian on here haha

    5 b) 1-arm BB curl: 2 x 6 per arm

I have used sleeves for zerchers and gone up to the almost the same weight as my front squat and never has anything improved the pain… I think its one of those things you just need to learn to live with
