Final workout in Jodhpur. This city is beautiful, and the wedding was incredibly extravagant.

Warm-Up:

  • 100 skips
  • 20 single-leg skips/leg
  • Agga’s 8

SGHP: EMOM, plank remainder of minute

  • 50x10x3

Felt awkward

Barbell Row / DL:

  • 50x10x5 at the start of every minute / 50x10x5 halfway through every minute

That sucked, and my row form definitely got shaky

LPD / RDF:

  • 35x3x10 at the start of every minute / 5x3x15 halfway through every workout
  • +5x2x15 EMOM RDF

Very fast tempo, granted it was with reasonably light weight

Family emergency and I have to spend a further two weeks in India. No gym either. My early Christmas gift was flying in to Brisbane on the 23rd, booking a flight back and spending Christmas Eve returning to a… “vibrant” city.

There is a fully grown man behind me hitting the back of my plane seat.

Please, do not ever go to New Delhi.

Plan is to more or less gain weight slowly, and work on fixing my relationship with food.

Since @duketheslaya is talking about goals, I’ve got a couple for 2019:

375 (160kg) High-Bar Squat
245 (110kg) Bench
405 (180kg) Deadlift
Weigh 85kg at an excusable body fat%
15 Strict Pull-Ups
50 full ROM Push-Ups

I wont be getting back to the gym until a one-month layover. My maxes BEFORE all this were:

Squat (Low Bar): 115x1
Squat (High Bar): 105x1
Bench: 75x1
Deadlift: 130x1
Weight: 75kg
Pull-Ups: 12
Push-Ups: anywhere between 20 and 30, it varies

So I have already decided what I want to spend the majority of my year on - a 5th Set program - but I also want to spend a few weeks early in the year to rebuild my work capacity with heavy weights. This is what I want to try:

80% TM

SQUAT
Squat: 5s PRO Spinal Tap
Rear Delt: 4x15-25
Abs: 4x10-20
Dips: 4x10-20

BENCH
Bench: 5s PRO Spinal Tap
SA DB Rows: 4x10-15
GHR’s: 4x15-20
Side Laterals: 4x10-15

DEADLIFTS
Deadlifts: 5s PRO Spinal Tap
Rear Delt: 4x15-25
Abs: 4x10-20
Incline DB Press: 4x10-15

PRESS
Press: 5s PRO Spinal Tap
Chin-Ups: 4x8-15
Lunges: 4x15-20
Triceps: 4x15-20

The assistance work is all done Krypteia style, but with three exercises instead of two. If you know what that is, power to you, otherwise I’m sure you’ll figure out.

I’ll do this for 2 cycles, then to anchor swap Spinal Tap for 351 + 6x4 FSL for a single cycle, then I’m off to 5th Set because 5th Set looks great
