You're Your

That is all.

your so out of line on this one

take you’re proper grammar and gtfo

This drives me absolutely nuts. Really, it is very easy to know which to use if a person will take a second and think about it.

I l’d ol.

The internet wasn’t meant to be a english lesson. It was meant for PORN. And what you posted has nothing to do with PORN. You disgust me.

hahahahaha

For some reason, “ur” doesn’t bother me nearly as much as using “your” for “you’re”.

When I see ur, I just think, OK they’re just using a short version, it’s the internet, no big deal. When I see your, it’s more like, wow, that person really doesn’t know the difference between you’re and your. Did they finish 6th grade English?

And as you can see, run on sentences, and the poor use of commas don’t bother me at all.

Damn straight.

.

“Its vs It’s” always has me confused.

I think it’s more of a generation thing. I used to see comments like “ut o the gramer police r out again, im 2 cool to car” coming from the young teens and pre-teens playing world of warcraft.

It got old quick, both the game and the annoying chat. It took twice as long to read half the shit people were typing, than if they bothered to learn a thing or two in school.

Shit, it takes me longer to type poorly too.

Some people get annoyed by retarded grammar, some people get annoyed with people who care about retarded grammar. To each his own.

Did you just imply that I play World of Warcraft? Sonofabitch!

I take comfort in knowing that those who consistently use poor or short form “interweb/texting” grammar have most likely never read a book for pleasure in their lives, and are therefore missing out on one of the best mediums of entertainment and information.

Of course this only solves your problem under the assumption that you take pleasure in feeling superior to others

hehe, no. Not implying that you played, but I did play, for way too long. I saw that kind of talk there more than anywhere else.

This one thing I cant understand.

English people doing mistakes about Your and You’re and its and it’s while we people who use it as a second language never make that mistake but does every other one

Kind of like how people from a lot of other nations know more about the geography of the US than most Americans.

[quote]WolBarret wrote:

“It’s” is the abbreviation of “it is.” So if you can’t say “It is” in place of “it’s”, then you’re using the wrong one.

“It’s a nice day.”

“The dog shat in its cage.”

Feel me?

As someone that fucks this shit up all the time in casual typing like internet forums, I don’t think about those rules when I type here. That is why I make those mistakes, carelessness. I’m typing more conversational here.

If I’m sending an email for work or something, I don’t use contractions so it isn’t an issue, but I’m also aware and paying more attention then when I’m here.

Don’t loose your mind over this people.

hurrr

Lose, not loose.
