Your Sheiko Experience?

Even though sheiko is a strength training program it is also known to contribute to hypertrophy. I have heard the following things about the sheiko systems:

  • The squat part is very good
  • The Bench Press cycle is ok but not the best
  • There is too much workout for the lower back
  • Lats does’nt get enough workout

What is your experience? agree/disagree?

Bump!

For hypertrophy with strength: do Combat pyramids. Works way better than a standard power-lifting routine.

Hahaha, you’ll never let the forum hear the end of that one, huh?

What was the name of the guy who originally posted about that crap? Was in some old tbt vs. split debate, was it not?
(and to think we’ve had 2 within the last few weeks AGAIN…)

for me the squat benefited…i added lat work beccause the amount of no pulling didnt wanna get hurt but my bench went up 20lbs on a standard sheiko 6 weeks program…probably cause I was lifting in the 1-3 rep range for too long and it just shocked my body.
Squat and deadlift didn’t do too well though…upper body did get a little bigger though.
