Probably not applicable to lifters, but for giggles:
I'm 37.. wtf?
Your VO2MAX is calculated to be67and your estimated "fitness age" isyounger than 20
That is probably because I am strong pound for pound, and actually get some conditioning in.
Your VO2MAX is calculated to be
and your estimated "fitness age" is
younger than 20
I'm... "younger than 20".
Male, 29, lift 5x a week for 30+ minutes, some hard breathing and sweating, 30" waist, 55 bpm resting pulse.
Though I think the resting heart rate I put in that is off, seeing as how I've been doing push-ups and chin-ups steadily throughout the day today.
Last time I checked actual resting heart rate, it was 60. Which would put the VO2MAX at 62.
Vo2 max of 55 and fitness age of 21. Actual age is 37. Doesn't seem right I know when I was 21 my pulse frequently reached 200 during water polo practice now when it's over 180 I feel awful.
Did you enter the waist measurements in cm? It has a conversion calculator at the top.
Well, it helps that you're also younger than 20.
Where does your "I am strong pound for pound" come into play with that calculator?
Yeah, I put it in in cm. I just converted back (er, didn't convert) for here.
Maximal heart rate decreases with age, nothing you can do about it. Doesn't mean anything as far as "fitness"
younger than 20.
