I haven’t lectured anything. I stated my opinion, and because it disagrees with the majority somehow I now have to be an expert and I am lecturing. Again, you guys can disagree, but with the exception of ussmc, nobody has actually putforth any counter examples.
How exactly are small business owners supposed to put forth examples of how misguided your views are on the economy? All you are doing is parroting Bernie Sanders talking points.
Is it not a good example when all the accountants and business owners on here vehemently disagree with you?
Oh and telling people who actually live what you are shouting about TO JUST ADMIT THEY ARE WRONG. Is lecturing.

I am not expecting a thesis level dissertation when you are not an economist. I thought that was blatantly obvious. You made A BLATANT DECLARATION of superiority of that study without comparing it to any other study or even referencing any other study. That is wrong. It’s shitty argumentation and you know it. If you’re going to make a declaration of “being the most systematic” then you have to defend it. Period. No ifs ands or buts. It has to be defended. What are the other studies done, why is this better and why are the others weaker?
That doesn’t require a dissertation. It requires due diligence. You didn’t even fucking MENTION any other studies that exist, and I know they do. Nothing can be the best without comparison, period. Either mention why this is better than the others, or retract your statement. Again, you didn’t say “this is a great study, read it”. You said “this is the MOST systematic study”. You implied that this one single study is the definitive answer to all questions regarding the topic at hand, and evidence is required to support that claim.

I’m not playing word games. Definitions are important, and if you can’t see that maybe you should go back to school. Your wind energy paper had an area for defining terms I take it. That’s standard. You can’t just throw terms out and say they mean whatever you want them to mean. Deal with it. You’re doing shitty science with full confirmation bias.
I work for the military, but more importantly, answer any of my questions. Only one person here has actually done that, otherwise I get told I am wrong based on opinions. No, your problem is that you have been putting up your opinion as if it were fact. Your verbiage, your attitude, you telling people who do things for a living that they should stop doing that because you’re right and they’re “brainwashed”. If you had said, “I think this, because of this, this, and this. Why do you think differently?” There wouldn’t be any issue. But you didn’t do that. You posited that you were concretely right and everybody else was stupid and “brainwashed”, and then got upset when we didn’t play your game on your terms. That’s why you’re getting raked over the coals, and you deserve it. I have plenty of civil conversations with people who are completely my political opposites…but then that’s because they don’t do things the way you did them. They ask questions and have conversations and we agree to disagree while learning more about the other person. They don’t call people brainwashed and stupid.

Since about 9/10 soldiers hold strongly conservative views, so I am gonna go ahead and assume you work for a contractor. Most likely a union shop.

You didn’t just speak imprecisely, you made a concrete blanket statement. It was wrong, you know it, you won’t retract it and you won’t attempt to defend it. That shit doesn’t fly. I can’t believe you don’t understand this very simple thing. I keep bringing it up because you either a) need to retract it or b) need to defend it by mentioning other systematic studies of the topic and why this study you linked here is better. Neither of these things requires dissertation length posts. YOU made the claim, not me.
Actually this isn’t true. If you read earlier the conversation was pretty civil. It was actually a few people who started the childish name calling and whatnot because we had differing opinions. So I said to myself, “Screw it, lets have some fun” and here we are now. I find the hypocrisy annoying, and it tends to be with people who all have the same opinions. I bet you didn’t read the earlier posts just like you didn’t read the paper I gave you, just like you didn’t provide anything to counter it.
Trump exhibits a level of nationalism not seen since the third reich… talks of rounding up the muslims, enforcing boarders etc… the fact that he spent the majority of his adult life a democrat (hey, I appreciate folks make mistakes)… but then runs on the republican ticket. It all makes me more than a little uneasy. This is a guy who will say or do anything it takes to get whatever he wants… I don’t believe he honestly stands for anything short of himself. Sure, Bernie is a bleeding heart socialist fuck… but he’s consistently been a bleeding heart socialist fuck… at least you know what to expect from him. Do I think he’s a good candidate? Nope… but I’m convinced his agenda is genuine. Given my choice, I’d probably have Gary Johnson in office (who doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance)… TL:DR Character… that’s why I’d choose Bernie over the other two fuckwits vying for control of our country.
