Wednesday 6/21 - chopped firewood for 30 minutes. Smashed my right pinkie pretty good trying to kill a giant ant with a 6 lbs splitting wedge.

Cured some of my salmon to make gravlax. Here it is with cucumbers and mayonnaise/heavy cream dressing.

That looks really good. I sort of miss chopping wood. Of course it will be 95 here today, so not too much.

Hot here too, but my wood pile is in the shade.

.5 = 4 with right hand…4 like not closing but close with left hand

Captains of Crush are the gold standard. Similar to a job requiring daily hammer use. They improved my handshake, forearm size and reduced lifting straps’ need for lifting
< 405 weight.

However, I think Captains of Crush + having grandchildren + nonmanual labor job = risk of arthritic hands. My green metal Ivanko adjustable springs gripper rests under my office desk papers for infrequent use and I shamelessly use straps for deadlifts over 225.

Roger that. I am just now trying to incorporate them. Bought some a few months back.

I suffer from major hand pain off and on…always there, but sometimes much worse…was actually hoping/thinking working on my grip strength might help with my hands.

Might want to consult a hand specialist.

Been there…done that…basically told there’s nothing wrong with me…they were willing to do carpal tunnel surgery on me, but told me I didn’t have carpal tunnel syndrome…so…yeah…

Started with a orthopedic surgeon who sent me to the hand specialist…they did a bunch of tests involving like needles and electro charge stuff…didn’t find anything basically.

Thanks for the food porn. My wife has been sick and the kids hate what I make.
