Yohimbine In Canada

a couple weeks ago i got popped at the canadian border with 3 HOT-ROX Extremes in my trunk. it cost me $130 in fines as the yohimbine is a controlled substance.

however, for that $130, i learned an important lesson: you can have a 3 month personal supply, just declare it and let them do their bureaucratic thing, it will take half an hour or so, but you should be on your way, paying only the GST.

if they try to mess with you and say that you cannot bring it in, be polite, but stand fast. you can tell them that officer 11253 (customs officials only have numbers, no name tags) has dealt with such a case and is familiar with the regulations. worst case scenario they will hold on to it while they investigate the claim and you will have to go back to pick it up.

if you do this, your name goes into the computer and you cannot bring any yohimbine in for 3 months (or less if you got a smaller amount). if you do get caught being an idiot like me, don’t lie, they may not give back the siezed goods. by being honest and accepting responsibility for your actions, you save yourself the speech and they get to the paperwork quicker.

i really think i caught them off guard by not only telling the truth, but also telling them the yohimbine was the compound in question. for the record, all the other components of HOT-ROX Extreme are legal in canada.

Sweet, thanks.

I think it is really weird that a Canadian website sells HOT-ROX Extreme only to the East half of Canada. I don’t know where the line is though.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I’ll be spending the summer in Alberta so this might be helpful.

Thanks for sharing and sorry about the fine. I wonder if we can find those regulations on-line?

my understanding is SND sells one without the yohimbine in it, it is also 110 caps, but not HRX. i was told that it would not be possible to import commercially any yohimbine containing compound as people would require a persription to get it (it is a controlled substance, had it been scheduled, i would be looking at a $3000 fine and at least probation).

the only way one can have it is if they bring it in themselves and only up to 3 months worth.

as for the fine, i deserve it, i put it in the wheel well and crossed when traffic was very light. also lately they have been doing a lot of inspections at BC border crossings.

I think they used to have HOT-ROX Extreme… or at least used to have Spike with yohimbine; thats what I was referring to with my earlier post.

i ordered it here for a buddy came across no problems with fedex,
