Does anyone have any good suggestions (adding minimal calories) on how to prepare Yams/Sweet Potatoes so they they taste good.
I don’t really like them plain.

I like to scrub them (skin on), dice them bite size, put them in a baking dish, spray with olive oil, sprinkle with montreal steak seasoning (basically coarse salt & pepper) and bake at about 350-400 until slightly crisp (30 minutes or so). Yum!
Sometimes I do 1/2 sweet potatoes, 1/2 regular potatoes…
OK, now I’m hungry!
Cinnamon and nutmeg lend themselves nicely to either baked or mashed. Mix the spices in buter and/or with some Stevia or Splenda if you prefer them sweeter. Chopped walnuts or pecans work too.
Would Cinnamon, splenda and butter flavored sprinkes be good with mashed sweet potatoes?
