Xyosted (Testosterone E Autoinjector)

Hey everyone, this is my first post. I’m sorry excited to learn from everyone and get advice from guys who have lived it and experienced it all.
So I’ve been lifting my entire life I had a really bad injury to my leg playing ice hockey and then got a MRSA infection post surgery. I almost died had 6 surgeries and spent 6 weeks in the hospital. I’m 36 and have been thinking about doing a cycle or try for as long as I can remember. My dr just started me on Xyosted today. The fda just approved it a few months ago. It’s Testosterone enthanate in an autoinjector, kind of similar to an insulin pen. I’m taking 100mg a week. Hey he pain meds I have to take have killed my natural test level it was 450 a few weeks ago. They are giving me a month of the test to get me started until I can find a specialist but they are all so expensive. Luckily my insurance covers the Xyosted so instead of the 700 it’s supposed to be it’s 4 dollars. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with it or any advice. I’m thinking I’m going to have to start acquiring it on my own if I want a higher dose and they do t give you any hcg or e blockers, not sure if I need them at all now or not. Any advice would be a huge help do you think I’ll even notice anything at that dose.Does anyone know of a good site with any lab or supplier reviews, with bloods ideally. Thanks guys

100mg is a good starting spot and you shouldn’t need any aromatase inhibitor (E blocker). As for HCG that would be to preserver fertility. If you plan on having children at some point then you would need this.

That being said $700 a shot is so fucking laughable. Ask your doc for a test cyp script and do the injections at home. It will probably cost you less at the end of the month even @ $7 a shot for the other.

Do you have complete labs with ranges you can post for us to take a look at and gauge your protocol/issues?

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply I had most of the labs drawn I still need my estrogen checked but I can post what I have I’ll just have to format it when I get home. I take Aldactone for my leg and I read today that it’s an anti-androgen so I wonder how much that’s effecting my t levels. I’m going to stop taking that today. I’m 36 and but I think I should take the HCG so I can preserve fertility as long as possible, I do t have any kids yet so it would be nice to save the option. My doc won’t prescribe it, she actually said I’m the first testosterone prescription she’s ever written so I was lucky to get what I did to at least get started but after reading everyone’s posts and your advice I think ill definitely try to find a good lab and do it on my own. Here are some of my labs I have with me and my test was 445. What dose of hcg do you think would be good for now and how long do you think it will take to notice any difference. I know everyone is different but best guess?

I get 3 months worth of testosterone cypionate for $42 dollars, don’t allow yourself to be taken advantage. HCG can improve mood and cause mood problems for others, it will increase estrogen and may cause bloating. It can complicate your TRT protocol, but if fertility is important it may be worth it.

You need certain testing to manage your TRT protocol, total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG and estrogen. total testosterone is bound to SHBG therefore not bioavailable, free testosterone is bioavailable and is more important, because if your total testosterone is high and free testosterone is low, you can expect symptoms.

Not everyone will feel well injecting Sub-Q, I sure don’t. I inject using 29 gauge insulin syringes in shoulders and quads considered shallow IM.

Thanks for the reply I had total and free testosterone levels andSBGH done too I just do t have those results with me, they didn’t check esteogen level but I’ll send my dr a message now and ask for it. I knew it was insane to be paying what I am and it’s defi not doable for me to continue so I’ll have to find a different way to get my testosterone. Does it really matter which esters you choose at first?

Oh and what did you mean about not feeling well objecting sub q

Cypionate is the most popular, second would be enanathe and third Sustanon. Sub-Q is injecting into fat tissue, IM is going into muscle which is the most common.

When you state autoinjector, that’s Sub-Q. I seem to need more testosterone when using enanthate versus cypionate, which has one extra carbon structure than enanthate.

20mg EOD enanthate doesn’t get me the same levels as 20mg EOD cypionate.

Thank you for all the Info. I’m thinking about running about 200 of test c with hcg and armirex for 12 weeks, do you have any idea what something like that might run me

Here are the rest of my labs, what do you think?

It is known that 2-3 percent of our Free T is bioavailable, so 1.7 percent is low. I only needed to look at your Total T and SHBG to figure that out, SHBG is high in relation to your Total T, SHBG binds androgens and is lowering your free testosterone.

Your testosterone is still low, or rather your free testosterone which is what you should be paying attention to rather than concerning yourself with Total T.

I agree use cypionate vials.

How long on the pain killers. If you can detox your system will probably kick back in.

Klonopin caused my low T, was on it for 30 years and was fine until I withdraw the medicine. I’m sure if doctors knew this could happen they would have stopped filling my prescription years ago. Sad this is I didn’t even need to be on it when looking back at my medical history.

Those who take prescription drugs are guinea pigs. Never forget who runs the show, big pharma is the evil empire and it’s right hand are doctors. Big pharma doesn’t profit if doctors don’t prescribe.

I’ve been on 60mg of Oxymorphone er a day since 2013, I can’t really walk much or workout at all without it unfortunately. I hate taking it and have tried going off of it 3 times but the pain is just way too much unfortunately. They injured my saphenous nerve during one of the surgeries and I lost a large portion of thigh muscle and have tons of scar tissue in it from all the surgeries. They also have me on lyrica which adds water retention and Aldactone which is actually an anti androgen, I’m going off of that today. Hopefully with the testosterone I’ll be able to lower my pain meds as low as possible and hopefully rebound a little

I’m sorry man yeah they are crooks I was I. Klonopin for 2 years and it screwed up my memory. Every now and then the pharmacy doesn’t order me medicine in time and I get so sick from the withdrawal it’s horrible I hate it so much. After 4 years my body can’t function without it

Yes i bet that’s hard man. With t I hope you recover faster. Make sure you work on it with a holistic Chiro or physio. Diet helps mind set helps. Many men and woman get off pain meds and find a way to lower pain. Find your personal solution brother.

Trt will help. Optimize your hormones in full once trt is dialed in.

Yeah I’m still in pt it really does help. I’m trying a more holistic approach now to hopefully be able to at least take less pain meds

Yup the human body is an amazing machine.

I myself feel XYOSTED is a complete scam based on the price of the product and the Dr/Pharmaceutical company relationship to push this product. So here is my breakdown of how this went for me. I have been taking TRT for about 2 years in WA state where I would get a 3 mos supply (6 vials) of 200mg Testosterone Cypionate vials for about $30. They wanted me to inject 200mg Intremuscularly every 2 weeks but I opted for 100 mg every week. I unfortunately had to move to NY state where they will only allow you to have a 1 month supply at a time because of their overregulation of all things! my new Dr. wanted me to try this new product XYOSTED (Testosterone Enanthate) and only at 75mg a week injected subcutaneously (abdomen). It’s all made in a fancy package that is dummy proof, but here was my financial breakdown. This product costs $600 for a 1 month (4 Tubes) supply for which my insurance paid $400 leaving a $200 balance. XYOSTED offers coupons online ($125 off) which reduced it to $75. Now, if you do the math there is no way in hell I will pay $75 a month for a nice shiny pkg when I get get the same product for roughly $10 a month that takes a few extra steps. I feel they are marketing people that are afraid of needles or think it’s a hassle to draw your own syringes.

Patents are a motivating factor for the suggestion of XYOSTED. I think in the future we will see more autoinjectors pushed hard by doctors. It is not needed because you can load any insulin syringe to do the same job.
