She seems to be exhibiting pronounced lordosis. She should stop or reduce all activities that could be contributing to the problem.[/quote]

I kinda dig it.

and I’m around, lurking for the most part. I rarely log in just peek in from the iphone.
Training 12-2 and 5-8 everyday. Takes up a shitload of time.

Xen-

I have been kind enough to move the photo of your girl over into the “hot g/f, wives thread II” over in male animal.

Hope you appreciate it.

I am kidding.

DAMN she looks fit as hell!

out of curiousity xen…does she lift too, or has just been playin soccer her whole life?

Yea been lifting since high school, not a huge fan of it though because she HAS to, but doesn’t mind when she’s not in season…

“Four-year varsity letter winner… Two-time All-Trinity League Second-Team selection… twice named to the all-county second team in 2005-06… helped the Lancers to the CIF title in 2005-06… third-team All-CIF selection as a junior… also played softball and ran track… team Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman”

Yea really.

That looks like a pretty heavy workout load. Wish I could spend that much time in the gym!

I just started stepping it up to get ready for the Nationals at the end of October. Am feeling it today!

Only hit it that hard for a couple weeks then i don’t lift and let my body supercompensate. I’m pretty aware of how my body reacts to shit so i can toy around with my training stimulus. if I was going to do that more than 2-3 weeks I’d make tu/th conditioning session optional…sometimes we do a lot of cardio in the gym. If it’s just 2-3 weeks I’ll gut it out. But if it’s something I’m going to do for an extended period then fuck that

On the plus side my legs don’t get tired. Which was a lot of the purpose. I want to have my footwork available no matter my state of fatigue. I’m changing to more of a savate type footwork so I need to be able to put our a lot more energy with my footwork…this has been helping along with jumping rope more. It requires more energy but it allows me utilize my natural athletic attributes better (speed, kicking flexibility, reaction time). Plus it made my legs bigger

Downside, I have to stretch a LOT and do a lot of glute activation drills to keep my knees healthy

No shit!

I knew a long time ago the back is what powers the front-
only in the past year or so , while my glutes are starting to fail my aging self
have I realized how the glutes power the rest of the lower body equation.

sounds like you have a great plan - as usual-
good luck and dont be a stranger.
