Wrestling and Metabolism Damage

Okay i used to be over 300 lbs about 3 years ago and now i am a fairly lean 205 lbs. normally this would be a "good job you fixed the issue" type of deal but i am now wrestling for a division 2 wrestling team and i have to get down to 197 to wrestle. But, all of this dieting has left me with no metabolism and i cannot afford any weight gain because i have to make 197. Can someone help point me in the right direction.

Train harder, and eat healthier (does not mean eat only couscous and tofu.)
Eat meat, fish, veggies, fruit and drink milk.
Train harder.

Problem solved?

Honeslty, it won't take you long to cut 8lb before a comp? To me it sounds perfekt, you can basically loose 2-3lb no prob during the night, take a a few 15min cycles in the steam room or whatever before weigh in and you should be down to weight.
