This pic reminds me of that. A lot to be thankful for…
That is maybe the saddest pic I’ve ever seen. OP, glad you and your girl are ok.
It’s one of the most powerful images ive seen on the internet
x2. It makes me beyond thankful that mine is alright. For the record, I had the best Christmas I’ve had in a decade. No one I loved (that I know) was homeless, everyone had fun, no one had to pay $1000 for their car to get towed over the mountains after spending $400 on specialty chains that didn’t fit specialty tires, no one died, and my little brother is considering doing something awesome with his life for the first time ever. Really couldn’t ask for more.

So me and my Girlfriend of 3 years are on our way to her parent’s house for Christmas Eve.
Luckily though, nobody was injured. It’s amazing we were not hurt.
However luck struck, and since my landlord is a car dealer he said he would have no problem helping us out and said he would lend us a car for the time being.
I managed to make it home with it and now I’m well. Now in all fairness I’m still here and in good health and in the grand scheme of things this is all relatively minor.
