I’m going to be going in for back surgery to repair a disk I damaged while doing deadlifts a few years ago (and that apparently never healed).
It looks like normal workouts will be off limits for at least a couple months after. I thought I would try to do at least something a little earlier in order to try to keep my physique however much possible.
Did anyone here get back surgery and/or have recommendations on what one can do to stay in shape during the recovery period? Perhaps there’s some kind of machine only workout program that might actually be effective. I really don’t know. Any advice at all appreciated.
