Workout After Car Wreck?

 I just got back from Christmas break and was getting excited to get back in the gym, but I wrecked my truck this weekend. I'm okay, but my wrists are sore from the impact. My right one is fine; it barely hurts at all. My left wrist is pretty sore still. The wreck was Saturday night, and it's Tuesday now. 
 I have free ROM, and it doesn't bother me. It only hurts when something touches it. I can put pressure on it just fine too. I was thinking about giving it a few more days until it doesn't hurt anymore. I figure that a few days of lost workout would be better than the risk of hurting myself in the gym. Is that the best choice?
