Working Out While Sick?

Last MOnday night I started feeling kind of sick, and by Tuesday morning I felt horrible. I had a fever, sore throat, and my whole body ached. The aches were on top of the leg soreness from my workout the day before. So I felt horrible.

I haven’t worked out all week, but now I am starting to feel better. As long as I take some tylenol I feel like a million bucks. My question is, should I still work out while I’m sick, or just take a week off? What does everyone think?

You’ve already taken a week off, and sounds like you’re feeling better. If you think you can, give it a shot and see how it feels. What you had isn’t the kind of thing that you will relapse into just from physical exertion–unless you totally exhaust yourself.

just rest, and get better. then give it your all. immunity will drop further after a workout. so recover completely first.
