Working Out Around the Flu

Hi CT , so i got a mild cold few days ago i had all symptoms but nothing too serious and at the moment even i still get a mild version of all symptoms i think i have high energy enough to tackle my bodybuilding goals so i want to know your opinion if i should return to my regular schedule of training or try to keep intensity and volume down till i am 100 percent well.

Keep in mind that cortisol shuts down the immune system. So if your cortisol is chronicaly elevated (if you do a physical job or have a stressful lifestyle or are someone who worries a lot) then I’d likely drop the volume and even frequency until it passes.

If not I’d still lower volume but keep intensity high.
