work/unit of time

After reading over some of the EDT articles, I have a question about this notion - does it equate to muscle growth via hypertrophy, either of the sarcomere or sarcoplasm? Is growth a simple function of adding more work per unit of time? Do folks agree on this? Thanks - just wondering what you all thought…

I’d probably squeeze in 3 weeks of strength training after 6 weeks of EDT and then go back to EDT hopefully using higher weights. The notion is that higher load will cause the body to adapt but as with any routin you need to change it up from time to time to shock the body. laters pk

You should see hypertrophy of both the sarcoplasm to handle the increased anaerobic load and the contractile elements to handle the increased weight.
