My grandfather was a WW2, and he passed away several years ago. Whenever I hear about someone from that generation passing away it’s a sad reminder that soon they will all be gone. I don’t think my generation will be able to replace them.
I agree. They will never be replaced. I have commented in the past, that if the Chinses sailed up the Hudson river, people would take a selfie instead of picking up a rifle.
