Give me a break. Fear that a woman can do the job better? “Hey a guys bashing women he must be afraid she’ll do a better job…” It’s more the reality that some women are not welcome. If, huge, enormous IF, they could handle the physical what in the world makes you think the macho elite will now embrace their new sister. The men have to prove themselves for years. A woman would have to combat against a “boys club” the likes of which you can’t even begin to theorize about.
Again IF this superwoman makes it through she must also stay clear of any type of romance and blah blah blah. Let’s face it, there is no way this is going to happen without changing the standards. Reality…the standards will be changed and women will go into elite teams. WHether or not they see combat is a different story.
Michelle be they male, female, young old, IF they can do the job and become part of the team then have at it. I’ve done my time and pray that those going, come home safe, whether male or female.
