Wolfowitz and Feith

#1

Does it bother anyone else that the #2 and #3 people in the Defense Department are Jewish and seem to be more pro-Israeli than pro-American??

I just finished reading a lot of their article/columns and their entire political idealogy stems from protecting Israel, with what's good for America being a non-factor. Fucking unbelievable. What the fuck happened to true Americans running America?? These guys grew up here but seem to put Israeli interests ahead of American interests.

It bothers you, Just-The-Facts, and Hitler.

And Colin Powell:
In Bob Woodward's book, Plan of Attack, then Secretary of State Colin Powell called Feith's operation at the Pentagon the "Gestapo" office because Powell believed it amounted to a separate, unchecked governing authority within the Pentagon.

And Gen. Tommy Franks:
United States Army General Tommy Franks, according to Bob Woodward's 2004 Plan of Attack, described Feith as the "fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth"

And Gen. Anthony Zinni:
"In the lead up to the Iraq war and its later conduct, I saw at a minimum, true dereliction, negligence and irresponsibility, at worse, lying, incompetence and corruption."

Zinni is talking about a group of policymakers within the administration known as "the neo-conservatives" who saw the invasion of Iraq as a way to stabilize American interests in the region and strengthen the position of Israel. They include Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz; Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith; Former Defense Policy Board member Richard Perle; National Security Council member Eliot Abrams; and Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

Zinni believes they are political ideologues who have hijacked American policy in Iraq.

"I think it's the worst kept secret in Washington. That everybody - everybody I talk to in Washington has known and fully knows what their agenda was and what they were trying to do," says Zinni.

"And one article, because I mentioned the neo-conservatives who describe themselves as neo-conservatives, I was called anti-Semitic. I mean, you know, unbelievable that that's the kind of personal attacks that are run when you criticize a strategy and those who propose it. I certainly didn't criticize who they were. I certainly don't know what their ethnic religious backgrounds are. And I'm not interested."

Adds Zinni: "I know what strategy they promoted. And openly. And for a number of years. And what they have convinced the president and the secretary to do. And I don't believe there is any serious political leader, military leader, diplomat in Washington that doesn't know where it came from."

Basically anybody who knows what the fuck is really going on....

Hey dumbass, there's a lot of evidence right now that Feith passed classified government secrets to AIPAC, the big Israeli lobby. Guess what, Feith is living in Israel right now. I guess the kitchen got to hot for him in DC.

It doesn't bother you that there is a lot of evidence that former, high-ranking defense department employees (Wolfowitz included) were passing classified info to Israli-lobby groups (actually, Jewish-American lobby groups would be more accurate) and fabricating lies so that American soldiers go die for the Israeli cause?? Doesn't bother you at all??

#5

Isn't it a funny coincidence that 4/5 neo-cons Gen. Zinni mentioned in the post above are Jewish??

I find it interesting that many Jewish-American statesmen (Ari Flesicher, for example) have served in the Israeli Army but I have never heard of a single prominent Jewish-American statesman serving in the American Armed Forces. Hmmmm, wonder why.

Military service is MANDATORY for every man and woman in Israel, that's why!

#8

That pretty much ended the debate. Oh people can keep commenting but it's over...yep.

lol

"That pretty much ended the debate. Oh people can keep commenting but it's over...yep."

This coming from someone who thinks the earth is 6,000 years old and that man lived among dinosaurs. lol

#10

Oh darn, now you are wrong again. Twice on the same thread

...I never said that and here you are saying that I did.

And you wonder why people make fun of you for your pea brained comments.

Please do more as I need the entertainment.

#11

No Zeb, it was implied by you.

Either you take the bible literally and believe the earth is 6,000 years old or you don't. Don't backtrack.

Your responses on the other thread have about 20 different posters laughing at you.

Now go fetch me some peanuts.

#12

Ha ha..you are a funny guy. Funny but not very bright!

I never once stated that the earth was 6000 years old. And in fact I'm not so sure that most Christians believe this. Nor is it stated in the bible. Read the book sometime you might learn something, not that you'll interpret it correctly.

Your reasoning skills are not what they should be. You tipped us off to that fact by insulting the Jewish population.

By the way, are you going to continue on with your anti jewish comments? I think you have really showed the entire T-Nation forum what a hateful nit wit you are.

Your turn...more stupidity please.

#13

Not hateful, Zeb. Concerned. Very concerned. That certain formerly high-ranking government officials would put the needs of Israel ahead of the needs of America.

Do I have something against Jewish-Americans?? Of course not....that is, if they wouldn't fuck over America for the sake of Israel. If they would (like Feith seems to have) they should move the fuck to Israel.

Is that reasonable for you? Or are you one of those bible-thumping morons who thinks that since Jews are the "chosen people" its ok if one of them [Feith], who has the highest security clearance, gives away classified government documents/secrets to Israeli lobby groups and then, when the evidence starts to mount against him, conveniently moves to Israel until the storm passes instead of being prosecuted to the highest extent of the law??

I'm not going to get involved in the Israel thing. But Feith and Wolfowitz are the exact kind of 'ivory tower academics' that right wingers are always complaining about, guys with no actual real life experience who think you can know everything because you read a lot of books. These 2 guys were the main architects for the Iraq war, yet they have no actual military expertise and had never even been to Iraq once, before the war started. They went on TV saying crap like Iraqis would welcome us with flowers and candy, that Iraq would be a cake walk, that all you have to do is remove a dictator and democracy will automatically take it's place.

Oh yeah, they also said Iraq would be able to pay for it's own reconstruction, and that American costs for the war would be something like 50 billion. They were only off by a factor of 20... the war is going to cost us as much as 2 trillion dollars... most of that money is being borrowed from communist China, and Japan.

Brad, please be advised that people don't like it much around here if you point out inconsistencies, hypocritical behavior, or, God forbid, actual facts that counter the words of their elected demigod and his wondrous administration.

#16

That's strange....that you would use such a phrase.

#17

Are you busy making unfounded assumptions again?

#18

I might me, as I was under the impression that you did not believe in God. Hence, why bring a name of someone up who does not exist.

If I am wrong I apologize.

Hey...that's twice in one day.

You bring out the best in me vroom.
