My wife just started a 12 week fat loss program, similar to Brock’s female fat fast. Her goal is to lose 25 lbs. of fat in time for her best friend’s wedding (11 weeks away), in which she is the maiden of honor. I split the 12 weeks into three 4 week phases. Monday through Saturdays are essentially zero carbs on a 60% REE/BMR caloric diet. Sundays calories are still restricted, however, this day she can eat healthy carbs with protein for two of her meals. The 4th week of each phase is similar to Sundays in that carbs are consumed at roughly 30% of total calories. As far as supplements, MD6 is used almost throughout the program, T2 or T2-pro will be used beginning in Phase 2, and Methoxy will be used only in Phase 4. Fish oils, flax oil, and multi-vitamins are used throughout. Let’s get a good support thread going here for her. She needs all the help she can get. I’ll try to get her to chime in here soon. Thanks.
