I have a pretty wide waist and hips as well, somewhat similar to yours. What you can try to make that not as obvious:
1- Get bigger. A LOT bigger. If in 5 years you walk around at that level of leanness but 40-50lbs heavier, your waist will not seem as weird. That’s what I’m currently working on.
2- Get leaner. For me, the first fat I put on after dieting is to that region, making my waist look wide as hell. So for competitions, you need to be MUCH leaner. You look about 10+ weeks out. I know it’s your first show and it takes balls to step on stage, so kudos, but next time, get much much leaner.
3- Posing. Like BONEZ said, your posing isn’t doing you any favors. Spend time EVERY DAY playing with posing. Watch youtube videos. Find people in real life that know what they’re doing to help you. This will make the world of difference when it comes to how you display yourself on a BB’ing stage.
