Cowboys fans—high school drop outs— Sensing a pattern here that has finally started making sense. That’s why Jerry World is so elaborate. Make it shiny and they will come.
Originally form NJ. Real estate taxes are brutal there. However, housing is relatively cheap. If you live near a big city, like NYC or Philly, you can make a ton of money. I’ll take the higher taxes since the wages relative to cost of living are pretty favorable.
Also, I wouldn’t have pegged the fine residents of washington as animal lovers. who knew

I would have thought crabs are the big problem in Maryland!

I love how my state’s problem is a non-issue as long as you are not a crazy bible thumper. Also, we also get crabs;Maryland gave us an SSTD
Two of my kids were born in Maine. One only lived there 3 years. I lived there much of my adult life. If they never set foot in Maine again, they will always be Mainers, but I won’t…

You’re from Maine eh?
That’s a tricky question. I LIVE in Maine, but I’m FROM AWAY (Indiana). Unless you are born in Maine, the natives will raise hell if you say you are FROM MAINE, because you’re not. So I can never, ever say I"m from Maine. They’ll kick me right out if I do. Even my girlfriend, who has lived in Maine since she was a few months old, carries the stigma of being FROM AWAY.
Of course, none of them Mainahs I live with are Hooshahs like I am, so there’s that.
OK, I’m going to say that Idaho’s reason for sucking is a good thing, as having the least government influence IMO is a positive. Also, Iowa being the oldest could lend itself to meaning people live longer in Iowa, so I’ll call that good, too.
Being from VA and not riding a motorcycle, I’m good with staying home.
I’m not saying we have good drivers here, or that massholes aren’t deserving of the title… I would just prefer they called it “aggressive drivers” rather than bad.
We have our fair share of bad, which leads to the need to be aggressive, but I’d say knowing how to drive aggressively is a skill, not really a negative, in some cases.
