H, Solid progress man, im betting youre gonna be real happy with your final results. To me it looks like you knew you were ready, and that you’re going about this in a smart way. Best of luck with the cycle, mind if i ask how your training has changed now that youve crossed over to the "darkside’ ?
And ignore the haters on this site that dont have the balls to post their stats or pictures on this site because they havent busted ass in the gym enough to show anything that resembles results.
Sure, man. My progress went like this. At 17 years old I was denied entrance into the US Navy because at 6’1" I weighed 262 lbs and was overweight by a large margin. I dieted down to 226lbs in 2.5 months once I stopped eating Mama’s cooking and got a personal trainer. After bootcamp I weighed 197lbs and still thought I was fat as hell. I subsequently went all the way down to 178lbs in Feb '01. This is when I really started to “bodybuild” but I knew jack shit about eating right, because I’d been feeding my horrendous workouts with “A” scoop of powder and some rice cakes.
Over the years I experimented and got up to 230lbs in June '04 which is the pic on my avatar. I had 18.5" arms and a 35" waist. I knew what I was doing finally and learned how to eat and how to really train to elicit results.
In late '05 I got out of the Navy and had no workout partner. I moved to China and have struggled to keep weight on. I dropped to 216 from about 230 and started training hard and eating right, but I just felt like I was drowning as I have really felt my natural test start to drop in the last year. After getting back up to 220 from 216 I decided that it’s time for me to use AAS which has significantly enhanced my ability to recover, train hard, and most importantly, EAT.
This is probably more than you wanted to hear, but here’s the basic summary. My training before was hard, and brutal, and my body was not recovering fast enough. I would end up taking too many off days just to heal. When I would lower the intensity I would see no results. I probably COULD have eeked out more gains over the years NATURALLY, but … WHY? I am doing everything safely and I feel amazing.
Training on AAS is like playing NBA jam on super nintendo with the cheat code on and you hit 3 pointers and slam dunks the whole game instead of making 2/5 from the free throw line.
The energy and feeling you get, and the visual results provides stimulus to keep going and trying harder instead of just saying “i know i need to get 2 more meals in before i sleep, but forget it… it’s not gonna matter anyway.”
