Why Bush MUST Be a Great President!

Ummm…you’re kind of making my point.

We can argue all sorts of different points, but one thing is for sure: Anyone so hated, so outright loathed, by the libs just has to be doing right. He is called Hitler Reborn, a religious nut-murderer, the world greatest terrorist by libs across the planet. His name is dragged through the mud, he’s barred from entering college campuses by gangs of lib-fascists. The Dems plan to impeach him when they take over in November.

Uhmm, None of this is true.

Uhh, 9/11, Katrina, Iraq, and dramatic rise of terrorism because of his policies. Probably not the greatest or top 40.

reviled by conservatives/you, Which would make Clinton the greatest since Lincoln.

Well if this is your prediction, then it won’t come true for sure…You’re record is awful (WINNING IN IRAQ!).

Go to the thread Harvard Invites Terrorist. The Lib-fascists and their minions forced Bush to speak off-campus.

Several Congressmen have indicated that they intend to initiate impeachment.

And so on…

Clinton/Bush, left & right arm of the same puppet.

You’re right: impeaching a president for lying would be wrong.

You used to be interestingly nutty; you’re just a troll now.

Bush is no Lincoln, he has affirmatively chosen not to be with his policies, but it is frightening how similar Bush’s opponents and Lincoln’s opponents are.

Yep, its almost like a psychopathic loathing.

They have every right to.

Yup, the same old line: Clinton got impeached because of a BJ, Bush will get impeached because he started a war under false pretenses and misled the American public and Congress. Say what you want, but this is what it will come down to.

Again, he’ll have no sympathy from me. The only thing is that he better get removed (not just impeached) for being the most inept leader the country has had since Andrew Johnson.

Not too mention, Headhunter, Mr. Philosophy Man, that your original post is one of the most illogical things in the entire world.

Democrats hated Lincoln’s policies, and Lincoln was great.

therefore if

Democrats hate Bush’s policies, Bush must be great?

That whole argument is unsound, and you’re not even taking into account that in the 1860s, the Republicans were the more liberal branch and the Democrats were not.

What a terrible philosohy student you are…time to re-read “Logic 101”

Lying under oath.

That was the crime.

JeffR

I agree that Bush is no Lincoln.

However, the similarity they both share is that they both are/were convinced they are/were doing the right things.

The nonsense about Lincoln “easily” winning reelection, is wrong.

In fact, Lincoln was convinced (until Atlanta fell) that he was going to be “defeated badly.”

He even had his cabinet unknowingly sign a statement pledging their support to continue the war before mcclellan took over.

If you want some real eerie similarities, try reading some copperhead quotes.

You can’t win a guerilla war, pull out the troops, dictator, what did the South ever do to us, etc…

It sounds exactly like the majority of dems in Congress.

The difference, of course, is that the copperheads hadn’t voted for the Civil War before voting against it.

JeffR

Oh

Right. But still about a blowjob. That didn’t cost too many lives.

Bush’s lies are worse than Clinton’s. Therefore, impeachment is a fair option.

If he was the CEO of a company, he’d have been fired already.

He wasn’t speaking on campus he was meeting with fellows from the school and
still held that meeting on-campus. By the way protesting does not equal fascism, but protesting protests sure comes close.

Please square:
“The Dems plan to impeach him when they take over in November.”

with

“Several Congressmen have indicated that they intend to initiate impeachment.”

The party’s position on the record is that they do not plan to impeach him.

Stop making s–t up.

GWB:“Bring it on!”
and so they did. Quoting bin Laden didn’t help. Giving them new haven in Iraq didn’t help. Letting them have the explosive dumps didn’t help. Giving Iran a boost didn’t help. Not recognizing the insurgency didn’t help. The torture thing didn’t help…

and so on.

in other words…sensible people don’t really wonder how they were emboldened, this admin’s soft on terror/ists policies did it.

Hah! Soft on terror???

Ever have a nest of hornets under your back deck? You can leave them alone for a while and maybe 1 or 2 stings…but the nest is there.

Bush got the ‘wonderful’ task of killing the ‘nest’. You all want him to be nice to the hornets, leave them alone, they’ll NEVER attack anyone again, its all his fault for stirring up the nest. Blowjob Billy can sit back and get sucked off, ignoring his duties (for which he should have been put on trial), and Bush gets attacked for doing his best to kill the nest.

One of the most unjust things I’ve ever seen.

Read the thread again, Irish. This is about all the flaming idiots who compare Bush with Satan and/or Hitler, and other just plain laughable shit.

Think in more subtle terms, Irish. ‘You can do it, all night long!!’

He’s not even trying to kill the nest. In fact he’s just growing more nests. Hence the “attacks”.
