Hey guys, I had a conversation with a friend at the gym today and He told me that all steroids do is increase these little hands in your body to grab protein, so you can eat more protein and use more of it for protein synthesis.
So if it is not artificial muscle and it is not lethal if taken correctly why is it illegal but alcohol is not? Was he sugar coating steroids or is it really all there is to it?
Also he said there is no point in taking it till you reach a natural limit. My other question is how the heck do you know when you reach your natural limit? I also think I am wasting my time eating 2 grams of protein and over per body pound if I can’t use it all anyway without steroids. Should I scale my intake back?[/quote]
Dear Beginner: At one time, actually in 1976 at 17-year’s of age i called my family dr. and he said steroids wont make you strong, but will make you gain weight/muscle.I was legally rx 100-5mg’s dianabol tablet’s by Ciba pharmaceutical’s, My friend we got our aas by dr’s both pill’s and injectable, plus amphetamines to diet, thyroid to speed metabolism etc. The dr prescribed went forth until the Olmpic Athlete ferom Toronto,Canada a Mr.Ben Johnson, hence, the dubbin inquiry and a ban on Dr. prescribed anabolic steroid’s for any athletic/cosmetic endeavour.
Your friend is right anabolic steroids makes the body able to utilize more protein, henceforce, the reason for a minium of 1gram per pound og lean tissue.Remember don’t include your bodyfat. In closing aas are the political drug of choice.I no it’s retarded ,but so are polituician’s.In Canada it’s a little easier,if your over 40ty years of age.In the usa it’s really unfortunate, desent people have to risk their health going to ulg’s,or joining some high $$price anti-ageing clinic. thank’s johnny
