Who Would You Vote for Today?

This is what I don’t get.

Romney and Huntsman are VERY smart men and politicians; so they have to know this.

Do they just like wasting their time and money? Evangelicals/the Religious Right will “almost” vote for Obama before they will vote for Romney or Huntsman.

That’s a fact.

Mufasa[/quote]

Romney won’t win because he’s a complete tool with no moral compass.

He was a huge abortion supporter – until he ran for nationwide office.

He was a huge proponent of gun control – until he ran for nationwide office.

He was a pro-gay marriage – until he ran for nationwide office.

He crafted RomneyCare, which makes ObamaCare look non-socialist.

Any given position — Myth Romney has flipped on it.

I wouldn’t buy a used car from the guy, let alone vote for him.

I ran into her in a tax-related lawsuit. (She’s a tax lawyer.)

She’s very very smart, but a complete bitch.

Gary Johnson

Ron Paul. No question.

Ron Paul as well. To me everybody else is the same where as paul actually makes some sense.

No, that’s not a fact. The religious right threatened to stay home in droves if once divorced Ronald Reagan got the nod from the GOP in 1980. And instead supported him by a wide margin, and that was against a Baptist minister, President Jimmy Carter. As Carter held liberal positions very unpopular with the religious right. His abortion position being only one.

Many if not most on the religious right think that Obama is a Muslim. And at the very least a very poor Christian based upon the church of hate that he attended for 20 years. They will also hold many of his views against him such as striking down don’t ask don’t tell allowing gay’s to come out in the military. His pro abortion stance, and his anti-Israel position. They will warm up to any candidate, even a mormon to unseat Obama. He is most unpopular with the religious right and they will vote against him and not for anyone in particular.

Keep in mind I’m not predicting that Obama will lose, only that the Christian right will vote against him.

Cain. I don’t know enough about him to hate everything he stands for yet.

Zeb…of course the Religious Right won’t Vote for Obama.

I put the parentheses around “almost” to emphasize (albiet poorly, I guess) that they would vote for Huntsmann and Romney with about equal enthusiasm.

Using the analogy of supporting a divored Reagan is a poor one, when they view Huntsmann and Romney as belonging to religious cult full of anti-Christ.

Ron Paul

But in reality voting is little more than masturbation, it feels good to do it but, your almost always sore afterwords.

Tony Abbott…he’s crossfit you know.

Apparently you are not familiar with how the religious right looked at divorce in 1980. At that point in the history of our country we still had a modicum of respect for marriage. Reagan was considered a very questionably pick simple because he was divorced. Yet ended up garnering a high percentage of the Christian vote because he WAS NOT CARTER.

Fast forward to Obama. One would just about have to be a devil worshipper in order to lose the Christian vote to Obama. Like 1980 they will not be voting for the republican but against the sitting President. Granted Mormonism is highly unpopular among the Christian right however, no worse than a divorced man who rarely attended church in 1980.

But we shall see if a moromon gets the nod, won’t we?

Again…bad comparions, Zeb…but yes…we’ll see!

Yes, foreign policy that would actually help the typical American.

The sort of foreign policy where the US sticks their head in the sand and allows terrorism and tin horn tin horn dictators to grow and flourish until they can do serious harm to the US.

This strategy is so off the wall only Ron Paul and a few of his more zealous followers actually believe it.

Wow, talke about upside down priorities.

I lean Huntsman. He’s not my ideal candidate, but given the options, he is fairly good (maybe the best) on what I consider the highest priorities at the national level we are currently facing.
